Xcellink Conferred the Work-Life Achiever Award 2010

“As Singapore’s labour market tightens, Employers move up the productivity and innovation curve, raising wages to attract, motivate, and retain employees.” – Mr. Gan Kim Yong, Minister for Manpower.

Xcellink was among the 45 companies recognised for their achievement in driving Work-Life strategies in their organisations.

The biennial Work-Life Excellence Award (WLEA) Gala Dinner, organised by the Tripartite Committee on Work-Life Strategy (TriCom), was held this evening at the Resorts World Convention Centre. More than 70 individuals and organisations received the distinction of being Work-Life champions in three award categories: Work-Life Leadership Award, Work-Life Excellence Award and Work-Life Achiever Award.

The TriCom received a significant increase of some 50% in the number of employers applying for this year’s award as compared to the last awards in 2008, with 70% being first-time applicants. This reflects the increasing number of organisations recognising the importance and benefits of Work-Life strategies to attract and retain valued employees.
