General Job Description

The Service Delivery Manager oversees the delivery of services or service technology to a company’s clients and customers. He will establish service policies to ensure consistent  service performance, monitors team members and evaluates customer feedback to develop quality improvement processes.

The Successful Applicant

You will have a minimum of 3 years’ experience in IT Service Delivery.  An independent individual that can lead a team of IT professionals. Must have proven abilities in executing given tasks, co-ordination of team members work tasks, documentation, planning & control.  Able to understand planning tools, Microsoft Office etc. Good interpersonal, negotiating and communication skills.


Job Description

The Service Delivery Manager will be expected to:

  • Periodically re-negotiating Service Level Agreements when necessary
  • Translate customer requirements into working instructions for Delivery, creating Procedure documents when required
  • Manage and solve escalations with urgency and determination
  • Provide detailed reports as per an agreed schedule or on-demand
  • Building and maintaining customer relationships
  • Ensuring that quality services are delivered with regard to the agreed SLA
