General Job Description

The Business Development Manager works to improve the company’s market position and achieve financial growth.  You will help to define short to mid-term organisational strategic goals, build key customer relationships, identify business opportunities, negotiate and close business deals and maintain extensive knowledge of current market conditions.

 

The Successful Applicant

You will have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in Enterprise System sales and/or marketing.  At least 3 years in independently leading and managing project implementation team. Must have proven track record and high ability in prospecting, building healthy pipeline and sales closure.

 

Job Description

  • Develop and implement sales strategies and plans to grow the business in Singapore and across the region.
  • Develop strategies and execute marketing/sales activities including seminars/briefing sessions to generate new businesses and strategic alliance.
  • Develop new accounts and achieve or exceed the sales targets set by the Company through value creation selling activities in the assigned areas.
  • Develop and maintain customer relationship
  • Foster relationships with business influencers such as partners, associates, industry organizations and attending appropriate networking functions.
  • Manage and generate responses to enquiries and tenders, and to coordinate pre-sales resource engagement.
  • Provide accurate forecasts and pipeline data as well as market information, competitors’ products and activities on a regular basis to the management.
